Struck By Lightening

Starring Chris Colfer, what a powerful film, so well written and performed. It really hits you. A lot like Lightning.
This is one of those films that, for me, really hit a nerve, because it is what we all fear; a short life, a broken family, not accomplishing our dreams. I think there is a part of that film that everyone can relate to at some point. I found it emotionally exhausting as it did seem to be on a low for a lot of the film, but that was what made it so powerful.
Now I haven’t ever been a huge glee fan, but Chris Colfer did used to stand out as a great talent, especially after I saw him perform ‘I wanna Hold Your Hand’. He really brought something to the role that I didn’t expect, such emotion, sassiness and a relatability.
Overall, I have to rate it high as it just brought such emotion out in me, I was so impressed by its great writing and acting on the part of all of the cast, from familiar faces, like Rebel Wilson and not so familiar, like Graham Rodgers.
