Intimidating, raw, dark.
The legendary Cray twins but not as you know them.
Spectacularly played by Tom Hardy, I was blown away by how well he shows the brothers differences. It’s amazing how he separates their voice, body language and facial expression perfectly showing their similarities in face but vast differences in personality. The calm, lonely Reggie and the volatile, broken Ronnie.
It’ll surprise you how much you grow to like them despite their violent reputation. The love in this film is in its detail, close ups and clever angles to catch the other side of everything.
Darkly funny and deals with some heavy themes, but tastefully. Not for the faint hearted but definitely an experience be to be missed.
