A truly moving true story showing the struggles of those dealing with the violence in Sudan. It shows their transition to life in America and struggle to unite their families.

I watched this at such a good time, with the arguments over who we should let in to the country. It shows the other side, their reasons and difficulties.

It’s a slower film but definitely a thinker and one that changes your perspective. You get so attached to the characters, these real people.

A must see.
